“His ample, warm, sensitively modulated timbre suited the slower, lyrical variations ideally. At the same time he had the wherewithal to negotiate the faster ones, and to project the music's passion and virility...a particularly fine blend of virtuosity and emotional inwardness.”

The Daily Telegraph

This is a rare chance to hear Tamsin collaborate with the leading British cellist and conductor Thomas Carroll. Tamsin plays the 1721 ex-Fenyves Stradivarius violin – one of the finest instruments in the world. This stunning programme opens with Beethoven’s legendary Egmont Overture followed by Tamsin’s interpretation of Mendelssohn’s masterpiece, the exquisite Violin Concerto in E minor. This concert is not to be missed!
