Friends Scheme

Friend: From £25 per annum (£40 for a couple)

A donation of £25 is enough to cover the cost of the hire of an orchestral set of parts for a piece of music, hired from a central London library and used by the Orpheus Sinfonia at performances.

  • A Friends Benefit Card, providing valuable and attractive concessions offered by our like-minded commercial partners.

Gold Friends: From £100 per annum (Couples may join for £100 and enjoy one allocation of benefits)

The income generated through annual contributions made by our Gold and Orpheus Friends is now raising enough to cover about two thirds of the cost of an orchestral concert, which is really excellent news. If by the end of 2010, the income from these two levels has achieved enough to pay for an entire concert, we intend to celebrate by producing a special ‘Friends Concert.’

  • First refusal for tickets in the first 10 rows of the centre aisle and gallery boxes, when the reservation is made prior to the Advance Booking Date. (Please note that first refusal to the front five rows is offered firstly to Orpheus Friends and Benefactors).
  • Invitations to ‘Friends Events.’ (These are produced as separate events at least three times each year and include wine-tastings, supper-parties and themed receptions. Live classical music is played by our own artists at such events).

Orpheus Friend: From £250 per annum (Couples may join for £250 and enjoy one allocation of benefits)

A donation of £250 covers the cost of maintaining two members of the orchestra in one orchestral project at St George’s Hanover Square or St Paul’s Covent Garden.

  • The opportunity to attend rehearsals.
  • First refusal for tickets in the first five rows of the centre aisle, when the reservation is made prior to the Advance Booking Date.
