This Christmas, delight in classic entertainment for all the family with Peter & the Wolf Live with Orpheus Sinfonia. Enjoy the live screening of the Oscar®-winning short film with a live orchestra at Abbey Gardens this December.

The classic story of Peter and The Wolf comes brilliantly to life in this animated film, recounting a magical world in which little boys can find the strength and courage to overcome their fears and the ever-present dangers that surround them.

This much-loved tale has resonated deeply with over five generations of children, enchanted by its power and sense of fun. This fantastical stop motion version by prize-winning director Suzie Templeton, specially made to be seen internationally both on TV and DVD as well as to be screened theatrically worldwide accompanied by live orchestras, is set to delight a whole new audience.

The live concert will take place in a covered, all weather auditorium on the Old Bowls Green in Abbey Gardens, next to the Rose Garden & Water Garden.

There will be a selection of food and beverage stalls in Abbey Gardens as you approach the all weather auditorium. Blankets can be brought if particularly sensitive to cold weather.

Tickets: Adult £15, Child £8. Under 5’s are free of charge but must have a ticket.
