Trinity Hospice and Orpheus Sinfonia
Wednesday 1st April, 2015 7:30PM
Trinity Hospice, 30 Clapham Common North Side, London SW4 0RN
Now for the second year running, musicians from Orpheus Sinfonia will give a very special hour-long concert in the beautiful and relaxed atmosphere of Trinity Hospice, by Clapham Common. These concerts are free and all are welcome to pop in and listen to a specially chosen programme of pieces to inspire and delight, accompanied by tea and cake. They take place in the tranquil outpatient centre, Mulberry Place, overlooking Trinity’s award-winning gardens.
This series of concerts is generously sponsored by an anonymous donor and is part of Orpheus Sinfonia’s commitment to helping young musicians at the start of their professional careers by providing performance opportunities in both concert venues and local communities. This live music project also supports the important work of Trinity Hospice. Louise Malone, Head of Mulberry Place, says “We are delighted to welcome musicians from Orpheus Sinfonia to Trinity. It’s wonderful to be able to offer patients, families and our local community the opportunity to take a little time out of the everyday and relax. I hope people who do not know much about Trinity take the opportunity to visit us and learn more about our work.”
To reserve your place to enjoy these special Wednesday afternoon concerts, please contact Anna MacLeod by calling 020 7787 1046. This is an informal event, so you can also simply turn up on the day but spaces may be limited.
