Windsor Festival – Henry V

Friday 2nd October, 2015 7:30PM

St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, Windsor SL4 1NJ

St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, will play host to an evening of rousing masterpieces as Windsor Festival welcomes the return of Orpheus Sinfonia to the Festival stage.

Orpheus Sinfonia, led by the dynamic artistic direction of our principal conductor Thomas Carroll, will bring to life Walton’s score for the 1943 Laurence Olivier film Henry V to commemorate 600 years since the Battle of Agincourt.

The evening also offers the perfect opportunity to showcase the Chapel’s organ which is celebrating its 50th birthday.  Seemingly written for a building just like St George’s, Saint-Saens’ magnificent Organ Symphony will certainly do just that!
